We are blessed with uninterrupted views over the Derbyshire Dales, a magical spot to camp in either your tent or campervan. We offer a basic, but well maintained site with everything you need on site. If you are looking for a back to nature campsite, look no further.

SUMMER UPDATE: During periods of hot / dry weather, we may prohibit the use of fire pits and solid fuel barbecues for the safety of everybody on site. This will be advertised on our website and social media pages, but please call us on the day of your arrival if unsure.

Pitch Prices:

As we are a free-pitching site without pitch numbers, we charge per unit based on dimensions.

Regular Pitch: £25 per night

* 1 - 4 man tent or small van, max 3m x 3m

Medium Pitch: £30 per night

* 4 - 6 man tent or larger van, max 5m x 5m

Large pitch: £40 per night

* Tents above 6 man occupancy, max 8m x 6m

Extras: Extra car (£5 pn) dogs (£5 pn), awnings/gazebos (£5 pn)

Our showers are coin operated so please remember to bring £1 coins with you!

We are a dog friendly site, but they must be kept on a lead AT ALL TIMES when on the premises.

Our campsite is a grass field, which does get muddy when the weather turns. Please note not all spots are perfectly level.

Please note there are no electric hook-ups available on our site. We have grass pitches only, please bear this in mind if choosing to camp over the winter months.

We recommend levelling blocks if travelling with a campervan.

GLASS IS NOT PERMITTED ON THE FIELDS

Refunds or transfers will not be given due to issues with the weather.

Once deposits or final balances have been paid, bookings cannot be refunded or transferred.

A fantastic way to enjoy a trip with family and friends. The bunk barn offers sleeping capacity for 16 people, consisting of two super king size beds and 6 sets of bunk beds, with all bedding provided.

There is a large, open plan living area with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of seating for your group. There is a private garden and BBQ ares, as well as a private toilet and shower separate from the rest of the campsite. All bedding is provided, but we do ask guests to bring their own towels.

We operate the bunk barn on a separate pricing system which gives a greater discount for more nights booked:

2 nights: £650

3 nights: £875

4 nights: £1,100

5 nights: £1,250

6 nights: £1,350

This works out at around a £25 discount per extra night booked. Please note the bunk barn operates on a minimum 2 night stay.

NOTE: Due to unfortunate past issues we also ask for a £200 refundable cash deposit on arrival to cover any damages.

If a romantic gateway is on the cards, our cosy shepherd’s hut is what you need! Sleeping 2, the shepherd’s hut has everything you need for a weekend away. Enjoy the beautiful views sitting around the firepit after a days walking or exploring!
