Beltonville FAQs
Please read our FAQs for answers to general enquiries for both the campsite and cafe. If your query is not answered, give us a call or send an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Are dogs welcome at Beltonville?
Dogs are welcome everywhere on site including the cafe and campsite, as long as they are kept under control on a lead and off the furniture
How can I book a pitch on the campsite?
Give us a call on 07943 994807 to book a pitch on our campsite, or email us at beltonvillefarmshopcampsite@gmail.com with any non-urgent camping queries. We will ask for payment for your booking over the phone so please have a payment card handy!
Can I arrange a later check in time?
If you are due to check in later than our advertised opening times, don’t panic! If you have pre-booked a pitch then we will send you a text message when we close the check-in office with all of the necessary information regarding site access, etc.
Can I bring a fire pit or barbecue?
Our fire pit policy is strictly under the control of the weather and local authorities. Under normal circumstances, yes, we allow fire pits and barbecues on site as long as they are raised off the ground (other than disposable barbecues, which we NEVER allow). We also hire out fire pits for £5 per night, with a £20 cash deposit refundable on return.
In any instances of dry / hot weather, we DO NOT allow fire pits or solid fuel barbecues on site, under instruction from local fire authorities. Gas barbecues and gas camping stoves are still allowed. We aim to advertise this in advance on our website and social media, but if you are unsure, please give us a call on the day of your arrival to check.
Do you have any electric hookup or hard standings?
No, we have no facility for electric hookup or hard standings on our campsite, and as such we are unable to accept caravans or larger motor homes. Smaller motor homes can be allowed during quieter periods, at the discretion of the management.
I am camping as part of a group - can we pitch together?
We are a free-pitching, open grass campsite without set pitch boundaries and as such we cannot reserve spaces together for groups. However, groups are welcome to pitch together as long as they can organise a space between themselves. Larger groups will be asked to leave the campsite if they are creating excessive noise.
